Glasgow salon adds mural of former client

Glasgow-based Scruffy2Fluffy has had a mural of a former canine customer added to its shopfront. 

The business has had Jack Scott’s Newfoundland Maisie, who passed away earlier this year after a battle with stomach cancer, spray painted to its Croftfoot Road salon.  

Maise had regularly attended the business even when she was sick. 

Scott told Glasgow Times: “We didn’t realise it was going to be as big. When you go past on the main road you can see it clearly, I didn’t think it was going to be anything like that.” 

He added: “But when we saw the mural, it was a happy ending to the sadness.”
