Suffolk doggy daycare hopes to grow

Swanwick Dog Daycare in Brome, Suffolk, has set its sights on expansion after a successful first six months in business.

The business was set up by husband-and-wife team Dan and Lucy Johnson in March after they moved to a new property with an extra outbuilding.

Lucy Johnson, a former groomer and kennels manager, told the Diss Express: “We have a big outdoor space with an agility course and I’m setting up a bubbles day for them soon, so we keep them entertained, and one of our key selling points is that we are a small family business.”

The couple could expand the business in the future to include renting out their agility course and offering home boarding.

She added: “We will hopefully expand our offerings in future, but at the moment we’re just really enjoying looking after each dog that comes in and making sure they are happy.”
