Staffordshire grooming salon launches

Dog groomer Stacey John has opened her first salon on Wolstanton High Street, Staffordshire.

VI Pups & Pooches, which opened in Porthill earlier this week, will be open 9am until 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10am until 7pm on Wednesdays.

John told StokeonTrentLive: “My opening times will vary every other week. On my opening week I’m open from Monday to Friday, and next week I’ll be open from Tuesday until Saturday. This will keep alternating every other week.”

She added: “I wanted to do it when I was training at Four Paws Grooming School, but I didn’t have the confidence to start a business on my own at the time.

“I chose Porthill to set up my salon because I have a lot of family around this end of the city and I’ve known this High Street for most of my life.”
