Selkirk groomer wins approval for new salon

A dog grooming business in Selkirk, in the Scottish borders, has received approval to relocate to a new home. 

Scottish Borders Council has approved a planning application from Pawfection dog grooming for the change of use of a retail unit at 91 High Street in Selkirk. 

Owner Maddie Harvey, the owner of Pawfection that is currently based at 55 High Street, is making the switch to meet growing demand. 

In a report with the application, Harvey says: “Our current workload is such that we are looking to expand our services to a larger premises also including a pet shop component.”
