Selkirk groomer seeks planning permission for new salon
Groomer Maddie Harvey, the owner of Pawfection Dog Grooming in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders, is seeking planning permission for a new salon.
The groomer, who is currently based at 55 High Street in Selkirk, is seeking the change of use of a retail unit at 91 High Street.
In a report with the application, Harvey says: “Our current workload is such that we are looking to expand our services to a larger premises also including a pet shop component.
“The premises in question is a Class 1 retail but we are looking to change to a Class 2 professional use.
“It has an alleyway on one side and a garden on the other, making it an ideal location for us.”
