Plans to turn Ipswich garage into grooming salon unveiled

Plans to turn a residential garage in Ipswich, Suffolk, into a pet grooming salon have been lodged with the local authority.

Applicant Christopher Bullard wants to convert half of the garage in Monmouth Close, Ipswich, into a grooming salon and the other half will continue to be used for storage.

The plans say that the applicant’s wife will be tending to the pets and, at full capacity, will accomadate four pets at a time.

If approved, the salon would operate from 8:30am to 6pm on weekdays.

Ipswich Borough Council is due to reach a decision by 30 May.
