Plans for Ringwood grooming salon approved

Plans for a new home dog grooming salon in Ringwood, Hampshire, have been approved.

The applicant sought permission to convert the garden room of a detached property on Christchurch Road to a grooming salon.

New Forest District Council granted permission for the plan, but with some conditions:

• commercial activity should only take place between 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturdays;
• the doors and windows must also be closed at all times, except for entry or exit, when washing, drying or cutting equipment is in use within that building;
• animals should only be groomed on an appointment only basis, with no more than four dogs per day.
