Littleport grooming salon plans approved

Plans to convert a bedroom in a property in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, into a dog grooming salon have been approved.

A planning application submitted to East Cambridgeshire District Council sought permission to convert the bedroom of 5 Wisbech Road from residential for the business.

The plans, which will see a window replaced with French doors, say the majority of clients are local dog owners who walk their pets to the applicant’s existing parlour on New Road.

The business will operate Monday to Friday, between 9.30am and 5pm and Saturday between 9am and 2pm, that with no more than six appointments per day.
