Hethel chicken farm to become secure dog walking fields

Plans to transform former free-range chicken farms in Hethel, Norfolk, into two secure dog walking fields have been approved.

The proposal will repurpose 7.9 hectares of unused grassland to accommodate up to 10 dogs at a time.

Each field will have a dedicated parking area, allowing up to two vehicles per session, and will be enclosed within 1.9m-high perimeter fencing to ensure security.

The facility will operate between 8am and 8pm, with a reduced limit of six dogs outside these hours.
