Dog training app to launch in UK
Dog training app Compawnion is set to launch in the UK.
The app has been created to help time-poor working professionals fit dog training into their schedules with the flexibility of focusing on specific needs of their dog.
Anvith Varanasi, the brains behind Compawnion, combined his insights as a pet owner with his MSc in Innovation Management from Imperial College London to create the online dog training tool.
He said: “At Compawnion, we’re making dog training simpler, smarter, and stress-free so every pet parent can feel confident.”
Compawnion has appointed integrated marketing communications agency, Leopard Co, to help get the app off the ground.
Leopard Co will be utilising its pet marketing expertise to increase the number of subscribers signed up to Compawnion by focusing on communicating the three-day trial to its target audience.
Rachel Roberts, co-founder and chief executive of Leopard Co, said: “Here at Leopard Co, we have a great track record in the pet tech space having helped launch PitPat in 2016, plus our experience working with a host of other pet brands.
“As pet lovers we know that to create a happy home for dog and owner, getting access to training advice and support is vital. Compawnion is the perfect solution to help dog owners who struggle to access the advice they need due to affordability or reluctance to attend in person training groups.”
The contract win follows a series of successful pet brand communications campaigns that the Leopard Co team has delivered recently including for Ruffingtons, Boost, Earth Animal, and UK Pet Food.
