Grooming salon launches in Aberdeenshire

A new dog grooming salon has opened in Buchan, Aberdeenshire.

Groomer Ashleigh Lillie has opened The Bark Box in a shipping container at 2 Kinknockie Croft, in Clola.

Lillie, who previously worked for supermarket giant Lidl, started grooming at Pets at Home in Inverurie. After almost three years with the pet store chain, where she gained her qualifications, she wanted to be her own boss.

She told The Press and Journal: “The first week has been exciting getting to work in my own space, seeing it all come together and having lovely feedback from clients regarding the look of the salon.”
