Swimming pool for dogs opens in Lincoln
A new 24-foot-long swimming pool for dogs has opened in Lincoln following successful taster sessions.
Soggy Dogz, in North Hykeham, will also offer hydrotherapy and sessions introducing dogs that are nervous of water or have not swam before.
The family business is run by Abi Raffles, previously a dog walker, and her father designed and built the pool in an industrial unit just off the A46.
Abi Raffles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: “The dogs have loved it. Sometimes it can take a bit of encouragement for them to get in and swim.
“The owners love it and everyone says they are coming back.”
