Renfrewshire dog care firm seeks retrospective planning permission
LoveDog Grooming and Daycare in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, has submitted plans retrospectively for the change of use of a registry office to a doggy daycare and grooming facility.
The business is seeking full planning permission to allow the premises at 16-18 Macdowall Street to be used for these purposes and for the retail of accessories.
The facility includes a reception and shop, grooming area, office/rest area, daycare, toilets, and storage.
The applicant said that they were aware that the premises had previously been “used for a variety of purposes since being the registry office, including a dog grooming and daycare business” and “as such, was unaware that a change of use permission was required”.
