Plans for Scarning dog park unveiled

Agricultural land near Dereham, Norfolk, could become a secure dog park under plans submitted to Breckland Council.

Applicant Brenda Waterson is seeking permission to repurpose land off Fen Road, in Scarning, for people to walk dogs.

The plans include a 6ft high perimeter fence, an off-road parking area, with a gated concrete entrance, and an online booking system.

If approved and operation begins, the site will be open from 7.30am to 6pm in the summer, and 8am and 4pm in the winter.

A decision on the application is expected by the end of August.
