Newchapel groomers to reopen after car crashes into building
Grooming salon Canine Design in Newchapel, Staffordshire, is set to reopen after being forced to close when vehicle hit a neighbouring business.
No staff or dogs were hurt in the accident, which happened shortly before noon on 27 March, but the business was forced to evacuate the building to ensure it was structurally safe.
Canine Design said: “As some of you may be aware, there was a terrible accident earlier on today which involved a vehicle crashing into the side of the building next to Canine Design. No harm has been caused to either of us or any of the dogs, we are just in total shock.
“Although the accident has not caused any damage directly to the shop itself, but due to the damage caused to the building we have had to evacuate the shop until structure report has been carried out.”
The business had to remain closed for essential work to be carried out to the building’s gas, electric and water supply.
Canine Design will reopen on Monday (7 April).
