Martham dog groomer opens new salon

Dog groomer Alex Amber has transformed her pet shop in Martham, Norfolk, into a grooming salon. 

Amber, who owns Martham Dog Groomers in The Green, says the pet shop wasn’t making money on its own so has decided to focus solely on grooming. 

To keep costs down, Amber and her partner completed the refurbishment themselves. 

She told customers: “We’ve only gone and done it and a whole week earlier than expected. This has been by far the most rewarding two weeks I’ve had in my professional career, turning the pet shop into a beautiful professional dog grooming salon.” 

Amber shares the site with grooming business Em’s Little Gems.
