Lancashire groomer gets permission to turn former wine bar into salon

The owner of a grooming business in Colne, Lancashire, has had plans to change a former wine bar into a salon approved by Pendle Council.

Lisa Collinge, of Pet Angels in Laneshawbridge, submitted plans to Pendle Council at the end of December, seeking permission to change the use of a former wine bar in Albert Road, Colne, into a dog grooming spa.

Collinge says no external alterations will need to be made to the building with only minor internal alterations required to be carried out.

No objections were raised against the plans.

The opening hours of the dog grooming business will be between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, the weekend opening hours have yet to be decided.
