Grooming salon to open Prestwick
Plans for a new dog grooming salon in Prestwick have been approved by South Ayrshire Council.
The site, next to a residential property in Weston Place, was formerly a garage.
Applicant Louise Gilmour had wanted to convert an existing garage to make way for the salon, but it was discovered the existing garage structure was unsafe.
In her supporting statement Gilmour said: “The only option remaining is to take down the existing garage, and to build a new structure.”
The building will be soundproofed and insulated resulting.
The hours of operation will be from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
