Herefordshire farmer plans secure dog walking field

A secure dog walking paddock could be created at a Herefordshire farm, new plans reveal.

Applicant Mr A Lilwall of Aconbury Court Farm, south of Hereford, is seeking permission to turn a two-acre field into a dog-walking area with three parking spaces.

The dog walking paddock, which is currently a horse paddock, would have a new 1.8-metre deer fence around it.

In addition, the facility would have a basic wooden shelter with a bench, but no toilet.

Dog walkers would book 50-minute slots via an online system.

The paddock would be in use between 6am and 9pm in summer and between 8am and 5pm in winter.
