Harwick groomer expands business

Dog groomer Karen Spratt, owner of Hairy Bairns in Harwick High Street in the Scottish Borders, has opened a new pet shop.

Vinnies, which is located a few doors aways from Hairy Bairns at 29 High Street, supplies natural foods, treats, treatments, and bedding, among other items.

Hairy Bairns, at 21 High Street, marked its sixth anniversary this month.

Spratt, who will continue to groom, said: “Six years ago this weekend I opened Hairy Bairns grooming salon and can’t thank my clients enough for their support, you’re all awesome. To celebrate I thought I’d give another venture a try.”
