Hartlepool groomer delighted with salon reception

Dog groomer Natalie Mathieson says has been delighted with the reception that her new Hartlepool salon has received in its first month.

Mathieson said she was nervous about opening Bark Avenue, in Whitby Street, in the current economic climate. However, the business is booming, and she has even had days when the salon has been fully booked.

She told Teeside Live: “The current economic climate was one of the main concerns we had when looking for premises.

“We had a couple we hoped to get but they fell through. When this place came on the market we just decided to go for it.”
