Glasgow dog groomer fundraises for rescue centre

Glasgow-based Bark and Bath Dog Grooming Parlour has marked its fifth anniversary by holding a charity dog washing event for Any Dog ‘il Do Rescue.

The business, based on Cathcart Road, worked with Falkirk-based Phoenix Dog Groomers to fundraise for the charity.

The event saw every short-haired breed receive a wash and dry, aloe facial, and a spritz of cologne. In addition, the companies collected items for the rescue dogs.

Bark and Bath Dog Grooming Parlour said: “We had such a fantastic mix of regular faces and lots of lovely new ones, too. Every single dog was an absolute superstar – honestly, they all earned an A++ for their behaviour (and for their cuddles).

“We were truly overwhelmed by the amount of donations we received. The generosity of our clients and supporters absolutely blew me away. It was especially touching to see people donating items that had belonged to their late dogs — I can’t imagine how hard that must have been, and it really moved me.”
