Dog grooming salon planned for Norfolk farm
Plans for a new dog grooming salon on a farm near Wisbech, Norfolk, have been unveiled.
Applicant Hannah Hetherington is seeking permission to change the use of the barn at Mendhams Farm, off Hall Road, at Outwell.
The planning documents say: “We are looking to build a wooden structure inside the building to create a dog grooming salon.
“The salon will be a diversification for the farm and will bring added income. The dog grooming salon will offer job opportunities for local people.”
In addition, the documents say there would be no noise impact from the grooming salon, which would be down a private track 320m from the road and trading would only be in “social hours”.
