Dog grooming salon opens in Corbridge

A new dog grooming salon has opened in Corbridge, Northumberland.

Groomer Niamh Cassidy opened Tyne Tails at 1 St Wilfrid’s Road in the village this week.

Cassidy told the Hexham Courant: “The village has got a lovely sense of community and there are loads of dogs and walking spots so I thought it would be a nice place for people to take their dogs for a nice muddy walk and then come into the salon for a bath and freshen up.”

Niamh is fully qualified with a Level 3 diploma in dog grooming and salon management and in canine first aid.

She told the newspaper: “I’ve had a lovely response, I’m excited to meet everyone and their dogs when they come in.”
