Cirencester grooming salon moves to larger site

Gloucestershire-based Spruce Cirencester Dog Grooming has moved into a bigger unit in Stratton. 

Spruce, which currently has three salons, says its new Cheltenham Road salon is three times bigger than its previous one in Stratton – which was on the same site. 

There are currently two groomers working at the salon, but two more are due to start in a few weeks.

Founder Heather Muir Muir told Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard: “As owner of Spruce, I have built a business that takes people in as apprentices and trains them up so that they can run a salon as their own business or franchise.” 

She added: “We are really delighted with the new Stratton salon, it’s so successful that it currently has a five-week waiting list.”
