Chard grooming salon plans unveiled

A new dog grooming salon could open in Chard, in Somerset, under new plans.

Applicant Caroline Major is seeking permission to change the use of an outbuilding in her garden from an insulated storage building used for storage space to a grooming facility.

The plans will require no structural changes to be made to the outside of the building just cosmetic to make it fit for its desired use.

The salon would operate from 8am – 6pm on Monday to Friday and 9am – 2pm on Saturday. It will be closed on Sundays and public holidays.
