Beco launches first treats range

Beco is launching its first range of treats, which features four nutritious recipes, in June.

The range, which features locally-sourced ingredients, includes: Insect, Dog Choc, and Cashew.

Beco’s first Insect recipe is source of digestible protein. Insects have all the aminos and proteins needed to build and maintain healthy muscles, while also having a low carbon footprint too.

The range also has vegan options, with plant-based, protein-packed options, such as:

  • Dog Choc – a soothing blend of carob, chamomile, and quinoa. Carob is a healthy chocolate alternative, chamomile has calming qualities, and quinoa has antioxidants.
  • Cashew – a blend of buttery cashews with pumpkin seeds and sweet carrots.
  • Peanut – made with crunchy peanuts, quinoa, and creamy coconut.

The treats, which are small and snappable, are baked into bone shapes in small batches in Devon. In addition, they are cooked in ovens powered by renewable energy.

George Bramble, Beco Founder, said: “Treats are such an important way to encourage and reward dogs, and we wanted to create something really special. We’re so proud of this new range, not just because of the locally sourced ingredients or the sustainable baking process, but also because dogs love the taste whilst their owners can be confident they are healthy and nutritious too.”

Beco’s Treats range can be found at www.becopets.com at £2.99 for a 70g recyclable bag.
