Plans for dog walking field near Chelmsford revealed
Plans for a new dog walking field in Writtle, Essex, have been submitted.
The facily near Paradise Road has already been constructed on the land near the road, which leads into the footpath that passes under the A414 and into Hylands Park.
Applicant Shakestones Farm is seeking to change the use from agricultural land to a dog walking field and add a new hardstanding area for parking. The site measures at 0.5 hectares.
The opening hours would be 8am to 5pm November to March and 7am to 8pm between April and October.
Visitors would book slots online for a 50-minute session and there would be a 10-minute gap between each slot to allow for people to change over. A maximum of three cars would be allowed on the site at any one time.
