Wisbech grooming salon given go-ahead

Plans for a new dog grooming and hydrotherapy centre in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, have been granted planning permission. 

Fenland Council has agreed planning permission for the business to change the use of an industrial unit on Boleness Road, in Wisbech. 

A planning statement said the business would open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday, and employ two people. 

A planning officer’s report said: “The proposed change of use will enable the growth of a new local business and the re-use of an existing vacant commercial building without detriment to the character of the area or amenity.”
