Whitehaven woman starts dog walking and sitting business

Karen Lall from Whitehaven, West Cumbria, has launched a dog walking and sitting business.

Lall has always loved animals, but it was only when she recently started to volunteer for local animal charities that she decided she wanted to do this as a career.

Lall currently works through Rover, but is in the process of getting insurance to allow her to work on her career more independently.

She told the Cumberland News: “I’d love to make a full-time career out of this. I have a passion for animals, one thing I would love to do is then branch into a doggy daycare and hotel.

“Right now, I have lovely clients but it’s trying to build that business.”
