Weston-super-Mare pet store to open self-service grooming area

Petmania in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, is to open a self-service dog wash in response to customer demand. 

The pet store, in Worle Industrial Estate, has invested in equipment to help dog owners wash their pets, including a professional grooming bath and dryer. 

A spokesperson told the Weston Mercury: “You can choose to bring your own shampoo and towels or we can supply. Each customer is issued a disposable apron to try and keep them dry and make the whole experience as simple and easy as possible. 

“Bookings are being taken but also if it’s available walk in and pamper your pooch.” 

The store is set to launch the service on 30 March.
