Suffolk doggy daycare hopes to move to larger site

A Suffolk-based doggy daycare is hoping to expand and is seeking planning permission to transform a warehouse on an industrial estate has been sought from a council.  

K9 Retreat Center, which has been based at 31 Wimbledon Avenue in Brandon since August 2022, is seeking change of use permission to transform the warehouse at Unit 2 Wimbledon Avenue into a doggy daycare, grooming, and training unit.  

The plans would see 1.8-metre fencing erected to create an enclosed play area. The company would have up to 25 dogs on site at any one time. 

The facility would be open from 8am to 6pm, with doh grooming taking place at the site during opening hours and until 9pm.
