Staffordshire doggy daycare to open second site

Doggy daycare K9 Anytime is to open its second facility in a converted agricultural barn in Weston-under-Lizard, Staffordshire, after planning permission was granted.

The family-run business based in Higford, near Telford, will open the business in February 2025.

The restored barn will be able to cater for up to 60 dogs with adjoining outdoor adventure playgrounds, in addition to relaxation rooms, a raw food and natural treat pantry, and full grooming facilities.

Tom Haynes, Director of K9 Anytime, said: “Our business has grown rapidly over the last few years, and we have been actively searching for a second location for some time now. Upper Brockhurst Business Village is the perfect location for our new facility.

“Our ethos is to make dogs’ lives better every day and our new Weston-under-Lizard location, just off the A5, supports our aim. Studies have shown that anxiety is higher in city dogs compared to those in the countryside who experience less stress, anxiety and fear. We cannot wait to begin working on Bradford Estates to provide our dogs with a peaceful, country escape.”
