South London doggy daycare launches community crowdfunder

Social enterprise Paws & Pause Dog Day Care, located in South London, has launched a crowdfunder to raise funds for its social impact programme.

Paws & Pause’s social impact programme – called Changing Human Lives with Dog Daycare – is designed to support individuals in recovery from addiction, helping them on their journey back into work and education.

If the crowdfunder is successful, Paws & Pause Dog Day Care will be able to increase the number of people in recovery it can help back into employment. Its target is £6,000 which would put five people through the six month training programme.

Paws & Pause Dog Day Care said: “By offering employment training opportunities, immersive skills training, and a supportive community, we aim to make a meaningful and sustained difference in their lives.”

The month-long crowdfunder has so far raised more than  £2,000 of the £6,000 target.
