Sheerness dog walker plans to open walking facility

Newly-launched dog walking business Happy Paws Pet Services on the Isle of Sheppey, north Kent, plans to open an 8,000sq ft rentable dog walking facility in July.

The New Road facility will feature 1.5m high wire-mesh fencing and agility equipment. It will offer pet owners 30- or 60-minute sessions for solo or group walks, and trainers will also be able to use the arena for classes.

Founder Tuesday Charlton, who launched the dog walking business this week, told Kent Online: “The land is owned by my partner, and when the fields are up and running we are looking to launch dog meets for pets who are not as sociable as owners would like.”

Charlton hopes the business will cater to canines from both Sheerness and Sittingbourne.
