Plans unveiled for dog walking facility at Heddon-on-the-Wall
Plans for a new secure dog walking area in Heddon-on-the-wall, Northumberland, have been revealed.
Applicants G & A White are seeking permission to change the use of a field, west of Ashtree Farm, into the dog walking facility.
The plan outlines the creation of two secure walking ‘pens’ that will be fenced for safety.
In addition, the plan includes freshwater stations, a dog washing station, with biodegradable bags provided.
A booking platform would manage time slots, with a 10-minute window between bookings to prevent crossovers.
The proposed operating hours are from 7am to 8pm in the summer and 8am to 6pm in the winter.
