Plans revealed for secure dog walking facility near Meadowmill
Plans for a secure dog walking facility at Meadowmill, in East Lothian, have been lodged with the local authority.
Applicant Margaret Firth is seeking permission to turn agricultural land at the site, to the south of Meadowmill Cottages, into a new dog walking facility.
Three separate dog parks would be created with a 1.8-metre-high fence.
Booking would be in 50-minute slots, with a 10-minute window either side to avoid crossover, and up to four dogs would be allowed per session.
The facility’s opening hours would be from 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturday from April to September, and from 8am to 7pm from September to March.
