Plans for new dog park near Skipton given the go-ahead
Agricultural land near Skipton, North Yorkshire, can be used as a dog park after being given the go-ahead by the local authority.
The two-acre site off Gledstone Road, in West Marton, is to be turned into mixed agricultural and amenity use, for the exercising and training of dogs.
The facility will include a small car park, fencing, and gates and will be in operation between 7am and 8pm in May to September and daylight hours from October to April.
The new dog exercise field is close to Marton Meadow dog walking field, which is operated by the same applicants.
