Plans for Highlands dog park submitted
Plans to create a dog walking field in Rothiemurchus, at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, have been submitted to Highland Council planners.
Applicant Inverness Secure Dog Walking Fields is seeking permission to locate the facility at ‘The Glade’, which is described as being 425 metres north-west of Camusmore.
In its proposal, Inverness Secure Dog Walking Fields, said: “Several secure fields across the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire have all gained planning permission including our other park – The Field Inverness.
“There is a need for a park like this within the Badenoch and Strathspey area.”
If approved, the facility would be surrounded by 1.9m high deer fencing, have a double entry gate system, and car parking.
