Plans for Dunbar dog boarding business approved

Plans to use part of a house in Dunbar, East Lothian, for a dog boarding business have been approved.

Fraser Purves had applied to East Lothian Council for planning permission to change one room in the Beachmont Place property for the dog walking and boarding business.

The business will care for no more than seven dogs per day, which will be picked up from their homes, and returned later in the day.

Overnight boarding will be for no more than two dogs, which will be kept indoors following any walks.

Permission was granted for one year to allow any complaints that might arise to be assessed.
