Cumbrian grooming business celebrates fifth birthday

Dog-Gone Fabulous Grooming, based in Ambleside, Cumbria, is celebrating five years of business.

Owner Vicky Dixon started the business started as a part-time, three-day a week venture while she was working at Kendal College, before opening the doors full-time two years later.

She told The Mail: “Some businesses don’t get to five years, especially in this day and age, so I’m quite chuffed about that.

“In the last year I have had an apprentice, Madison, and she has now fully qualified with a City and Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming. She is here full-time which is brilliant because she’s a brilliant groomer, by having her it has just enhanced the business. And our client base just keeps getting bigger and bigger.”
