Plans for Darlington grooming salon revealed

Plans to convert a domestic garage in Darlington, County Durham, into a dog grooming salon have been unveiled.

The garage, at 41 Conyers Avenue, would groom one dog at a time and the salon’s opening hours are set to vary from Tuesday to Saturday.

The business plan continues: “The applicant has chosen the above hours to try and offer flexible appointments for clients who work during the day.

“As a result, the applicant has introduced a later start and finish day in the week as well as a mid-day Saturday slot. Please note, upon the business commencing, the applicant may wish to swap some of the days around depending on the volume of clients and their feedback.

“The applicant will not, however, deviate from these set hours or have a late evening on a Saturday.”
