Petto Smart Nutrition launches plant-based dog treats 

Petto Smart Nutrition, which aims to create healthier diets for dogs sustainably, has launched a range of baked, high protein plant-based dog treats.

The treats contain no meat protein and instead are packed with human-grade plant and insect high protein recipes.

The slow-baked treats are also hypoallergenic and come in eco-friendly recyclable packaging.

Petto Smart Nutrition currently offers four varieties of treats for adult dogs, each with a different healthy benefit.

Co-founder Eduardo Salazar said: “It is our passion to make a difference in dog’s diets while helping to preserve the planet, so the launch of our Petto Smart Nutrition dog treats range is just the start of this journey, with more products due to be launched in the near future.

“We know people will treat their dogs and we felt there had to be a way of making treats that are a healthier alternative.”

Petto dog treats are available direct for £3.95 for a 100g bag, or £17.75 for a bundle of six mixed flavours, with free shipping.

A subscription service is also available for regular deliveries, at a 20% discount.
