Pencaitland to welcome home grooming salon
Plans for a new home dog grooming salon in Pencaitland, East Lothian, have been given the green light.
Applicants Phillipa Headley and Tom Harley sought permission to convert the garage on Lamberton Court, in Pencaitland.
The applicants anticipated that the business would be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday mornings.
The planning officer’s report reads: “The applicant is expecting to provide dog grooming to a maximum of three to five dogs on a full day and two to three dogs in the morning.
The planners noted that there had been one objection to the proposals.
Permission was given to the business for 12 months, while opening-hour restrictions were also put in place.
