Pawable launches collagen supplement for dogs
Pet supplements company Pawable has released a new powdered collagen product for dogs aimed at helping to prevent joint, skin and digestive issues.
The new supplement received a soft launch in the summer and is now coming to the market following positive reviews.
Collar-Gen is given in the pet’s meal once a day. The standard 225g pack has a recommended retail price of £29.99.
It contains five different types of 100% natural hydrolysed collagen, which is described as a “youth protein”.
Dale Nash, Product Development Manager at Pawable, said: “Collagen really is the protein that brings everything together. From clicking joints to skin hair and nails it really is a wonder product, and we are delighted to have created a supplement that works for dogs too.
“This product prevents dogs from developing arthritis, but also helps to alleviate and soothe existing conditions.”
