Paleo Ridge becomes RawSafe certified
Raw dog food manufacturer Paleo Ridge has received accreditation from the new RawSafe food initiative, becoming a founding accreditee of the new audit specifically designed to ensure the highest possible standards in the raw feeding industry.
As one of the first brands to receive RawSafe certification, Paleo Ridge underwent a thorough audit of its manufacturing processes.
The accreditation means that Paleo Ridge customers and prospective customers can feel confident that the brand is safe for their dogs.

“Our focus is always on the health and wellbeing of dogs and the accreditation is a testament to the high quality of our food and manufacturing processes. Manufacturing standards can differ greatly from business to business, it’s very important that there is now a standard which oversees and regulates the manufacture of safe, healthy pet food that consumers can buy with confidence and that Vets can stand behind.”
Partly owned by the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (RFVS), the RawSafe accreditation has been developed to ensure the quality and safety of raw feeding products.
The audit looks specifically at all areas of raw food manufacturing, aiming to hold businesses to the highest standard possible. Standards set by Rawafe are based on those in human food manufacturing.
