Norwich welcomes grooming boutique

Groomer Sophia Newman-Sanders has opened a new dog grooming boutique in Norwich.

Hound & Co opened in a vacant beauticians, in Grove Road, which was transformed into the luxury salon.

The outlet is Newman-Sanders first permanent premises, having previously worked from a van and rented space.

She told Eastern Daily Express: “We have had a really good start which is exciting. I’ve caught up with all of my old customers and have lots of new visitors which is great.

“People have really enjoyed our open windows which means they can see inside at our grooming areas and watch their dogs being treated. It helps them feel happy and confident leaving them with us and passers-by can also see us in action.”

In the future, Newman-Sanders plans to offer training sessions and to grow the retail side of the business.

Hound & Co Grooming Boutique is open Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 6pm and on Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 5pm.
