Norwich grooming salon ‘damaged’ by fire
A grooming salon in Norwich, Norfolk, has been damaged by a heater fire, reports suggest.
Fire crews were called to Best in Show Dog Grooming, in Magdalen Road, at 4.16pm on 5 December after reports of a fire.
The reports suggest the fire was caused by a heater in the middle room of the property, which resulted in a wall and part of the ceiling near the heater being stained by smoke.
Owner Tomas Spaltenstein told Norwich Evening News that his own dogs were inside the building at the time of the blaze but all of them were safely rescued.
He said: “It looks terrible but it’s better than it looks. It was caused by a heater, that’s all I can say right now.”
A stop call was made at about 5.28pm by the fire service.
