North Yorkshire farm plans second dog park
Plans to change the use of agricultural land at Moss Bar Farm, Cowling, to a dog park area have been lodged with North Yorkshire Council.
Applicant Sally Woodhead plans to develop a second dog exercise area at the farm after the success of Blossoms Field, which opened in 2020.
The new facility will be enclosed by a 2m high fence and will operate a booking system.
The plans state: “The existing dog field has been very successful. Only pre-booked visits are permitted and it is normally fully booked with customers often expressing a desire for capacity to be increased.”
The plans add: “There will be no adverse impacts upon visual amenity, landscape character, residential amenity or highway safety.”
