Lancashire groomer plans high street salon

Lancashire-based grooming business Bloomingtails is looking to move to a high street location in Whalley.

The business, which currently operates from doggy daycare The Bark Park in Whalley, has submitted a planning application for a salon on King Street.

The planned salon, which will be operated by Faye Ingham, would groom up to five dogs per day with opening hours on Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm.

The internal layout of the building will remain the same.

A planning document said: “I will strive to achieve continuity on the high street to preserve the look of King Street.

“Well-maintained flower beds and hanging baskets may be placed outside to enhance on natural beauty of historic buildings.”
